The Remarkables Ski Area
The ski field on The Remarkables range, about 24 kilometres from Queenstown up a steep switchback access road. In winter it runs wide open bowls, learner slopes and three terrain parks, and there is sledding and sightseeing over the Whakatipu basin for anyone who does not ski.
