Lakes District Museum
Arrowtown's local history museum, in the original Bank of New Zealand building at 49 Buckingham Street. It covers early Māori life, the settlers, the Otago gold rush and the Chinese miners, and it hires out gold pans for the Arrow River that runs just behind it.
